To celebrate their 125th anniversary, Merck developed a new wordmark and tagline of “A new way, every day”.

These then became the cornerstones of a visual identity that would be used throughout the year-long celebration.

Customizable materials – including posters, fact sheets, letterhead templates and social media posts– were made available on the internal Merck portal so that employees and around the globe could use them.

As a capstone to the program, a video was developed relying heavily on photos and footage from Merck’s own archives. The premise being, that for 125 years, Merck has been guided by the conviction that great medicines change the world.
